Great Taste and Good for your Waist!
Strawberry Nectarine Smoothie
1/4 c canned lite coconut milk
1 c water
2 tsp pure vanilla extract
2 c frozen organic strawberries
1 organic nectarine, sliced
2 tsp coconut nectar or raw organic honey (optional)
1 scoop unsweetened vanilla pea or rice based protein powder (optional)
Add all ingredients to a blender. Blend until smooth and creamy.
If too thick, add a little more water until desired consistency. If too thin, add a few more frozen strawberries and blend until incorporated.
Makes approximately 6- 6 oz. glasses.
TIP: Freeze smoothies in popsicle molds for great nutritious snacks!
