What does your favorite lifestyle coach do to get back on track when she overindulges while visiting her son over the holidays?  Detox with nutrient-rich Cabbage Soup!  This easy to prepare recipes simmers for approximately 30 minutes to create a filling tasty meal that’s great for your body.


5 carrots
3 onions
1 large head of cabbage
10oz bag frozen green beans
2 green bell peppers
10 stalks of celery
8oz package of sliced mushrooms
2-3 cloves garlic
2- 16oz cans diced tomatoes with liquid
1- 32oz bottle of Clamato juice
1- 14oz can organic beef broth
1 -1oz envelope dry onion soup mix
Pepper to taste


Clean, peel, and chop vegetables.

Place carrots, tomatoes, cabbage, green beans, peppers, garlic, mushrooms and celery in a large soup pot.

Mix onion soup mix, beef broth, and clamato juice.  Pour over vegetables in pot.  Add water to cover vegetables.  Cover, bring to a boil, then simmer 25-35 minutes until vegetables are tender.

Store leftovers in the refrigerator or freeze in single serve containers for a quick meal. Can also be prepared in a crockpot – low setting for 6-8 hours.
